Community Guidelines – Engagement Standards

Welcome to DR Hextreriorly, your friendly neighborhood spot for everything home design, renovation, gardening, and DIY! Founded by Donna T. in the beautiful city of Simi Valley, California, we’re here to share cool ideas on Home Design Inspirations, swap tips for Interior Renovation Ideas, and chat all things Gardening and Landscaping Tips. Whether you’re tackling a big project or just looking for some creative inspiration, this community is the place to be.

We want to keep DR Hextreriorly a fun, welcoming, and helpful space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their projects, asking questions, and learning from each other. To make that happen, we have a few simple guidelines to keep things running smoothly.

What We’re About

DR Hextreriorly is all about building a community where you can find advice about Home Improvement Essentials, discover awesome DIY Projects and Hacks, and dream up fresh Creative Concepts together. Whether you’re chatting in our Home Community Talks or checking out the latest in our Home Future Trends Radar, every voice here adds something valuable.

Our Core Values

Be Respectful: Everyone’s ideas and opinions matter. Listen, be kind, and support each other.
Be Honest: Share your honest experiences and give credit when you’re inspired by someone else.
Be Open: Different perspectives make this community richer—welcome them!
Be Helpful: Offer advice and feedback that encourages and builds up your fellow members.
Be Engaged: Jump in, ask questions, share your progress, and keep the conversation going.

How To Join The Conversation

Jumping in is easy! If you want to comment, share tips, or ask about gardening hacks or the best way to tackle a renovation:

Keep your posts and comments on topic—this helps everyone stay focused and get the most out of the talks.
Be clear and friendly so others can follow along and feel welcome to join in.
Credit the origin of ideas, photos, or tips when they’re not entirely your own.
Respect differing opinions and remember we’re all learning together.

Keep It Respectful

This community is a safe space where kindness and respect rule. Harassment, negativity, or any form of bullying will not be tolerated. Even when disagreements arise, let’s keep the focus on ideas and offer feedback that helps others grow.

Moderation

Our team of moderators works hard to keep the community welcoming and constructive. If content violates our standards, it will be removed, and repeated violations may lead to being banned. If you see anything that concerns you, please use the Help Here portal or Reach Out to let us know. We appreciate your help!

Sharing and Giving Credit

We all love when creativity spreads, but it’s important to give credit where it’s due. If you share tips or content from others, including from Inspire Write contributors or external resources, make sure to mention them.

Privacy and Boundaries

Please respect everyone’s privacy. Don’t share personal info publicly, either yours or someone else’s. You can read all about how we protect you in our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Service.
